9 Disney World Must-Haves When Visiting With a Baby!
So you're brining a baby to Disney and need to know what to bring! I brought my 6 month old to Disney world and spent weeks researching other parent's experiences and their tips and tricks when traveling to the parks with a little one. Here are 9 things that were essential for me in no particular order!
#1 Stroller Fan
The little ones can heat up just as quickly as we can in the Florida sun. I kept the fan on my daughter in her stroller the entire time and kept her comfortable. This one by FRIZCOL is great and always on sale! Check it out here on Amazon!
#2 Sunscreen
I lathered everyone in my family in sunscreen and the baby received the same treatment. Protecting our children from harmful rays starts early and is an absolute must!

#3 Hat
We love the Mickey ears as much as everyone else but they are too big for little one's head and they don't block out the sun. This bucket hat by MaxNova is our favorite as it is adjustable to her head size and comes in a two pack!

#4 Stroller
This one may be a given but a stroller is a must have for the little kiddos in Disney! Having a good, lightweight stroller that reclines and is easy to fold is key! Of course, there is an option to rent in Disney but if you're looking to bring one from home - here is a popular light weight travel option that is easy on the pockets!

#5 Quality Diaper Bag
Traveling with a baby feels like packing the house but it's a necessity to make sure the little one has everything they need. When you need to bring essentials to the parks, it's important that the bag you're carrying is comfortable and able to handle everything! I highly recommend a backpack diaper bag
Here is the diaper bag we own. It's comfortable, trendy looking, holds a lot, and is cost efficient. Click the photo below to purchase!
#6 Baby Carrier
Visiting Disney, you'll find there are multiple rides and/or attractions, even meals, where the stroller cannot join you. And while this may present a challenge, an easy solution is a baby carrier. My daughter visited Disney World at 6 months and 6 months can be a bit heavy waiting in a line. But a baby carrier helps to eliminate the strain on your arms when the stroller cannot follow you.
Here is the one we used on Amazon! It is by Infantino and is easy to use and comfortable for the little ones.
#7 Blanket
This one seems strange but it was a necessity for us! I wanted to protect my little's legs from the sun that I couldn't shield with the hood of the stroller. I ended up buying a thin t-shirt and used that to cover her legs but I think a thin muslin blanket would have been better!

#8 Stroller Cover
It is no secret that Florida is wet! And those afternoon showers can sneak up on you! And while you and your family may be prepared with ponchos and umbrellas, it is important to remember to protect your belongings as well. While you're on it's a small world, there could be a storm just outside and your items and strollers could be soaked.

#9 Extra of everything!
We packed extra clothes, diapers, wipes, formula, bottles, pacifiers, etc because we did not want to get all the way to the park and be stranded without the things she needed. A lot of it was overkill but it's best to safe rather than sorry. Accidents happen but we don't need a blow-out to ruin our day at the happiest place on earth!
